Ivy is not a victim, she's made a lot of mistakes and poor decisions throughout the show. and no that's no reason for someone to miss out on their dream. but even when Ivy HAD Marilyn in the workshop, she treated Karen poorly. for no reason, but like Sam said 'pulling a diva'. yea using Karen to open that night was very risky. but she's been there patiently waiting for her turn too, NOT taking things out on Ivy. i love both characters, i love this show. Ivy will get her shot too, it's not over I realize Ivy has done A LOT of super mean and sketchy stuff, but to me, she deserved to have that moment on stage on opening night as Marilyn. I know the show’s far from over, and I’m fairly certain that Ivy will get a chance, but it still won’t change the fact that I don’t like that Karen got to perform opening night on the first show she’s done. It just doesn’t seem fair to the girl who’s been working and waiting for this moment for so long. |
